They project a shield that reflects almost all damage back toward attackers. This shield also protects and heals Bane within its effect radius.

Vulnerabilities

AFS troops can infiltrate the shielded zone and destroy the Drones from within.

Description

Shield Drones appear to be simple foes, but they are actually deadly in a skirmish. Friendly fire reflects off their projected shields, often wounding or killing AFS troops. The yellow glow of a Shield Drone’s force field is a clear sign to cease all ranged attacks and prepare an alternative counter.

A single AFS troop, preferably wearing heavy armor, can rush through the shield and quickly use a weapon or Logos attack to destroy the Shield Drone. AFS troops within the shielded area suffer damage over time, so quickness is rucial.
Furthermore, Bane troops typically occupy the shielded zone, so enemy fire is a given.
