Introducing Veteran Rewards!

You’ve shown outstanding commitment to our cause, soldier, and here in the AFS we take good care of our veterans.  That is why we are introducing the Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa Veteran Rewards Program!

For every three months you serve in the AFS (with an active account*), you will be granted access to exclusive in-game content and items such as emotes, gear, engineering schematics, tiles, pets… need we go on? As a special bonus, soldiers will also receive a special 1 Month Reward (details below). Even more Rewards will be announced shortly, so check back here for updates.

The Veteran Rewards Program is due to start at launch on 2 November, 2007.

*Active account time includes; 1) the free month of game time included with the game, 2) free trial time, and 3) payments by credit card or Game Time Card. Payments by credit card or Game Time Card only include the paid time already incurred, not future time.

Each Veteran Reward is available to you for so long as your account is active.  If your account goes unpaid, you stop payment or your account is terminated for any reason, then access to the foregoing games and items will no longer be usable by the account until it is reactivated. Your use of the software for each game and your game play remains strictly subject to the User Agreement, Rules of Conduct and Copyright/Ownership Policy applicable to the game, as each may be amended or modified by NCsoft Europe at any time in its sole discretion.

Veteran Rewards Program FAQ

  • What do I have to do in order to receive my rewards?
    If you have an active account*, you don’t need to do anything except log into the game. After each three-month milestone, the rewards will be added to your account(s). The rewards are added according to the specific time your account reaches the three-month milestone, so they could be added at anytime during the day of the milestone. Players will also receive a special 1 Month Reward in addition to the 3 month milestone rewards after their first month of play.
  • What is the specific start date of the Veteran Rewards Program?
    The Veteran Rewards Program begins with the launch of Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa on November 2, 2007.
  • Where can I find out how many months I have played with an active account*?
    You can view your earned Veteran Rewards time by logging into your PlayNC Master Account:
    1. Click the Game Accounts link.
    2. Click your Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa game account in the Game Accounts list.
    3. On the Game Account Details page, locate the Account section. In this section, you will see your Veteran Rewards Time, which is the total paid time plus any time you received by adding a retail serial code or trial serial code.

    The Veteran Rewards box displays the amount of time you have played by milestone. It will reflect when you have played through your paid time by displaying the date and reward level for your next Veteran Reward.

    As the rewards are provided in 3-month increments, after the first 1-month reward, you will only see the next Reward Level that is included with your current Veteran Rewards Time. For example, if you have 13 months of Veteran Rewards Time on your account, you will only see up to the 12 month milestone, as you do not yet have 15 months of Veteran Rewards Time on your account.

    Note: The Veteran Rewards Time will not necessarily match your Total Paid Time (also displayed in this section).

  • My account is no longer active. Can I still receive my rewards?
    Yes. All you need to do is reactivate your account via credit card or Game Time Card and the appropriate level of rewards will appear for your characters. Just log in and they will be waiting for you. Note: the time that your account was not active does not count towards your rewards.
  • If I paid for some of my months using Game Time Cards, will that still count towards my rewards?
    Absolutely! Players will be rewarded for their number of months with an active account, whether they were paid for via credit card or Game Time Card.
  • Can I pay for a certain number of months into the future in order to receive my rewards now?
    No. The rewards are for the number of months with an active paying account and this only applies to past time, not future time.
  • I participated in the Tabula Rasa Beta. Does that time count towards my rewards?
    No. Remember, the rewards are for the number of months with an active paid account.
  • Does the free month that was included with my game purchase count towards my reward time?
    Yes.
  • I have multiple accounts, some newer than others. Will my rewards for my oldest account apply to my other accounts as well?
    No. Rewards are specific to each account.
