One of the biggest Dutch (Netherlands and Belgium) MMO News and Community website is proudly sporting its brand new tabula Rasa theme on its homepage. But that’s not all, they are also organising a Logos deciphering contest with a Collector’s Edition, 2 standard boxes and a few t-shirts and press kits to be won!

With humankind on the brink of extinction, you think it would serve our best interests to unite and strike the Bane as one, unified force. However, there have been increasing reports of unrest between AFS groups resulting in unfriendly fire in battle (a term being referred to as PvP). Soldiers engaged in battle with one another, whatever next?!

These War Games, whilst dangerous, can only be endorsed by the AFS. Bravo! This is war, it’s survival of the fittest, and to help things along we’ve just introduced PvP Rankings – now you can set your sights on the Top 50 Clans. Happy hunting!

Welcome to the battlefield Soldiers! It’s going to be tough, there’s going to be much sweat shed during your time in the AFS but this is going to be one hell of a battle, and we will prevail!

Preorder recruits can still fight along until next Monday but after that, you will need to get yourselves a standard or Collector’s code to continue on.

Halloween is now over for this year, but there is tomorrow to look forward to.

Tomorrow, Friday 2nd November 2007, is indeed the official launch of Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa!

Access for all of you who have managed to get a standard or Collector’s access to the battlefield is going to be activated at 7:00am GMT (8:00am CET) and you will be able to get straight into the action from then on. You think you can take it, Soldiers?

Beta drills are now over, war can start and will start tomorrow Tuesday 30th October 2007, at 7:00am GMT (8:00h CET) but only for those of you who have preordered the box. You will be able to get a headtstart on the battlefield until we open up the access to e.v.e.r.y.b.o.d.y. on Friday 2nd November!

Remember this date soldiers, this is the day when you stand up against the Bane and fight for our freedom!

The end of beta, and the beginning of a live service. I’ve been here before, but not in the same way. Every game has a personality of its own, which is part of the team that made it, and it is also part of the community that plays it. Whether as a player or a developer, I don’t think any game I have been deeply involved in held my interest in quite the same way as Tabula Rasa. So with that, I am going to have some fun by telling you some of my favorite parts of the game, and then offering some well earned thanks.

A priority one mission has been issued to all AFS soldiers by General Darkstarr . Bane activity has increased, General British is missing and, we fear, he may be working for them. It will be brutal, and many of you will die, but this is what you trained for Troops. Be sure to have lots of ammo and trauma kits on hand.

Yet another AFS transmission has been intercepted, this time the menace is a lot more ominous. AFS troops are on red alert and immediate action is required. As soon as the directives have been issued, the search can start.

Bane activity is on the rise and another top secret AFS transmission has been intercepted. It is recommended that any troops stationed at Fort Defiance or Wedge Rock be on the lookout for any unusual activity in the area, and that all AFS Troops maintain heightened awareness while on duty.

More AFS transmissions have been downloaded and decrypted. We believe these may contain important clues to a very important Bane operation. Remember this is top secret Recruits, and when on patrol, be sure to keep your eyes open for anything odd or unusual.
