And jumping on the Tabula Rasa review train, we now have the online version of the UK Telegraph Newspaper and the long-established Rock, Paper, Shotgun sharing their experience of the game with their readers.

Although traditional aspects of the genre such as casting spells and “grinding” to develop skills are still present, they’ve been repackaged as cloning technology, which lets your character follow a new direction, and the use of Logos, an ancient alien language that can manipulate matter. The intense action of a first-person shooter combined with the longevity of an online role-playing game makes this title stand out from its peers.

I’ve spent too much of today playing TR, and, oopsie, I’m having fun. Which is exactly what I don’t need, as now I have to agree with Kieron about something, dammit. More significantly, it’s woken up the part of me that’s hungry to spend all its time in a virtual world. It’s been quietly dormant since I finally killed my WoW habit back in Spring, and now it’s bloody ravenous.
