What is the Test Server?
The Test Server is your chance to preview upcoming changes and updates and provide feedback to the developers.
The test server is set up specifically for the testing of updates *before* they are incorporated into the game itself. Players can login, preview/test the planned new features, fixes, changes, tweaks and offer up bug reports or suggestions via /bug and the Feedback Form. On the Test Servers opening day, we will be using characters pulled from Pegasus.
How does a test server differ from a “live” server?
Due to the nature and purpose of a test server, the operative word to keep in mind is “temporary.”
• Content and characters could be wiped at anytime as game specific updates and changes are published, tested and removed.
• Players can expect lower levels of support, since the bulk of this service is centered around our live servers.
• Normal bug reporting and petitions will be handled a bit differently, as all issues need to be given more time for in-depth study, review and reproduction.
How Do I Install and Access the Test Server?
To install the test server, complete the following steps:
1. Download the test client from ftp://ftp.playtr.com/Public_Test/ The name of the file to download is Tabula_Rasa_Public_Test_Downloader.exe
2. Install the test client.
3. Browse to the directory where you installed the test client.
4. Double click on TabulaRasa.exe
5. The test server will be added to your PlayNC Launcher and will show up as Tabula Rasa Test. Run the Test Server to update it and launch the game.
Anyone with an active Tabula Rasa account should be able to access the test server once it is installed. Happy Testing!

Any chance to change normal client to pts? I dont want download 2.7gb with 256 kbps speed.
As the game is £ 30 can we get trial if not why. >? Okey if not againe can we get account for test server free so it would be as trail. >?

Open X:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts with text editor and add following:
206.127.148.78 tabularasa.patcher.ncsoft.com
Further the login.cfg from the COPIED client should look like this:

yarly what would be the point of wasting space when 99% of it is the same data…

if ppl who bought the game can play only then whats the point…
Please make the test server as trial afor 7-10 days fro non-subscribers and if we like it we will buy..it..

i create an account i use 7 days trial serial key but still i cant get in the game i cant play. why? when i use ID and pasword it say that ID and pasword is not veryf bla bla…
PlayNC website. They have tools to investigate this type of issue.
